Bayern Munich are still trying to negotiate a new contract with Davies as their current deal expires this summer. But talks have yet to conclude. Although Eberl has confirmed that talks between the two parties are ongoing, although there is an end in sight.

“Patience is not one of my qualities. The negotiations are good and open. The discussions are part of that. It’s the right thing to do.” Eberl said of Davis’ contract talks. 

‘We will continue to try to make the best decision. Negotiations are still ongoing.’

Real Madrid, meanwhile, are waiting for talks between Bayern Munich and Davies to conclude. And if they fall through, the Los Blancos are ready to snap up the 24-year-old left-back.
