Marcus Rashford striker for England’s Manchester United’s Champions League believes JaDon Sancho is The key. The Lions roared as they beat Germany in the round of 16 at Euro 2020 on Thursday night, according to Manchester Evening News.
The good city team is going to have a major battle against Germany in the knockout round at Wembley Stadium in London, where the statistics of the past meeting between the two Iron Eagles are dominant, having beaten England in knockout stages in major tournaments at both Euro 96 and the 2010 World Cup.
Rashford, however, believes his team has Jadon Sancho as a player to help them advance to the next round. From his experience of playing in the Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund, he is familiar with German football.
“He’s met with German players before. which is more than all of us I’m sure he knows all the players. Characters, weaknesses, strengths, and he’s the one who can defeat them. If some plans may not work. We have a big opportunity to change our plans and adapt to the game.”
“Adaptability is one of the most important skills in football and there are times in the game where you have to change something to win. And he has beaten many German players. That will be a very important factor for us,” Rashford said.
